The Boat House at High Point
The Boat House is located within the grounds of High Point (our family home). It was converted with privacy in mind and to make the most of the wonderful sea views.
A private fully enclosed SW facing deck with glass balustrade helps to make the most of sunny days; we do have some!
You also have your own private patio with outdoor seating and Webber BBQ. This area is great for relaxing during the day and watching the sun setting in the evening.
Inside the Boat House
Step in through the double glass doors straight into the open plan living space. The living space is compact and cosy.
The Boat House is extremely well equipped with a full kitchen, various appliances, a Neff oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and a microwave. There is also a Tassimo coffee machine or if you prefer a cafetiere.
The store cupboard has basics of oil, vinegar, salt pepper etc and some tea and coffee supplies to get you started whilst waiting for a supermarket delivery.
The lounge area has a smart tv and a cream Dimplex electric cast iron fire (more of a focal point as the heating is very efficient).
There is a small dining table inside and another outside. An external combi-boiler provides instant hot water and the room and radiator thermostats can be set to suit yourself.
Downstairs there is a cloakroom with a W.C., wash hand basin and washing machine.
Upstairs is light filled bedroom with velux roof windows making the most of the views. The windows do have black out blinds but on a clear night we leave the blinds open to see the stars and the Milky Way.
The Super king bed with cotton bedding and goose down duvet will, hopefully, ensure a good nights sleep. The gable end window looks out over the estuary and to the sun setting behind Ben John. The en suite has a Bath with shower over, a washbasin and W.C. Heated towel rail and arge luxury Bath towels.
* please note the bathroom is built into the eaves and headroom is slightly compromised.
